只包括有實時保護及殺毒功能的防毒軟件，一些只有掃描功能的並不算，這些軟件都是永久免費，有些如 avast、avira.. 等有軟件有效期的都可免費再續期，部份軟件有分收費版及免費版，請注意正確下載及安裝免費版。

防護軟件測試網站

網上有不少電腦安全防護軟件的測試網站，在他們的測試報告中可以大約知道防護軟件的病毒檢測率、錯誤檢測率或防火牆的效能等，雖然每個網站的報告結果對軟件的評價都不同，但大至上排頭位的都是差不多的那幾隻，所以作為參考其實十分有用，以下是我覺得較可靠的測試網站︰
